Siân started Superstar FD in 2024 after qualifying with ACCA in 2007 and spending many years running in-house finance departments. What began as providing outsourced CFO support quickly evolved, after she realised that clients needed more than just strategic advice, they needed the capability of a full finance department. So she built a team and created a service that acts as a seamless extension of your business. Superstar FD prides itself on not just providing outsourced support, but in being your finance department.
When she’s not helping clients make sense of their numbers, you’ll find her outdoors in Surrey, muddy boots and all. She dabbles in gardening (unsuccessfully), adores animals (even being a gerbil rescue volunteer in a previous life) and believes that staying grounded and curious makes her better at working with her clients.

Siân Grinter, FCCA
Director/CFO Hi I’m Siân. After qualifying with ACCA in 2007, I spent many years running in-house finance departments and love being a hands-on strategic advisor to business owners. My happy place is found in designing efficient, automated systems and processes that improve the quality and availability of financial data. I use that to build models and reports that give business owners clarity and confidence to make key decisions and drive growth. Having worked my way up through nearly every role a finance department has, I understand each process inside and out and what good looks like. With Superstar FD I help ambitious business owners take finance off their plate so they can focus on what they do best.
Nicola Easthope
Finance Manager Hi I'm Nicola. I have over 20 years’ experience in accounting and finance. Throughout my career, I've delved into various aspects, from accounts payable and receivable to crafting month-end accounts, performing reconciliations, conducting budget analyses, and managing VAT, among other tasks. What I enjoy most about this field is the diversity it offers and the opportunity to create insights that benefit business owners to steer their ventures in the right direction.When I’m not making sure all the pennies are accounted for, I enjoy walking, being out and about, family time and planning my next adventures!
Claire Rothwell
Ops. Manager & Executive PA Hi I'm Claire. I work closely with Sian to support the day-to-day running of Superstar FD, helping keep the business organised, efficient, and running smoothly behind the scenes.My role blends executive PA support with operational oversight. I look after diaries, communications, and internal workflows, while also supporting client coordination and making sure nothing gets missed as the business grows.
